


Members of this group have a responsibilty for the safety, wellbeing and the protection and welcome of others
As members of this group we commit ourselves to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults, and ensure their wellbeing during our sessions/events
The group commits itself to promote the empowerment and wellbeing of vulnerable adults, and supports their rights to an independent life based on self determination and personal choice
It is the responsibility of each of us to prevent the physical, emotional,sexual,financial and spiritual abuse that we discover, and to report any such abuse that we discover or suspect to Rona Prince
We undertake to exercise proper care in the appointment and selection in the event of those who may work with vulnerable adults
The group is committed to supporting those who undertake this work
This group, its members and those who work with vulnerable adults adopt the guidelines of Norfolk County Council
The named person will be in effect, the vulnerable adults protection officer, the person that the group would be able to take concerns and matters regarding abuse in confidence. These matters would then be forwarded to the Norfolk County Council Adult Social Services Adult Protection Team
